Abstract
A common strategy to conserve tropical forests and their biological an d cultural diversity is increasingly being implemented by environmenta l and cultural survival organizations. Sustainable commercialization o f renewable forest products is becoming a crux of this strategy, as fo rests must pay for their conservation. Indigenous peoples living in tr opical forests have been trading many commodities for centuries, and t here is potential for new and increased markets. What are some of thes e products?
