Abstract
The monosaccharides 2-O-methyl-L-rhamnose and 3-O-methyl-L-rhamnose we re isolated and identified as components of the acidic polysaccharide of Chlorella vulgaris K-22. 2-O-Methyl-L-rhamnose was first found in a lgae.
