Abstract
In 1994 Marine Policy published an article on ''Chaos, complexity and community management of fisheries'' by J A Wilson, J Acheson and P Kle ban, It has given rise to a lively discourse in the journal and the ed itor is pleased to provide space for this further contribution to the debate.
