Abstract
The copper/palladium-promoted heteroannulation of terminal acetylenic compounds in the presence of resin bound ortho-hydroxy aryl iodides is described. The process produces a-substituted benzofuran derivatives in good yield and high purity. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
