Abstract
There are presented results of investigation on the hydrogenation of f urfural to furfuryl alcohol on the Cu-Zn catalyst with hydrogen under ambient pressure. Results prove that the catalyst gives high yield and selectivity and can be applied to the commercial production of furfur yl alcohol.
