Results of elemental analysis of domestic feldspar for the content of
basic elements and impurities are presented. From the energies of octa
ne and toluene adsorption and porosity measurements, the components of
free surface energy and distribution function of energy of adsorption
as well as the radius pore's distribution have been determined. Obtai
ned data prove the structural and energy heterogeneity of tested felds
par. Iron removal with nitrochloric acid (aqua regia), aimed at commer
cial application of the feldspar, revealed the highest removal rate (9
0%) comparing to use of other acids.
