CELLS ON THE INTERNET - TOWARDS AN INFLAMMATION SUPERHIGHWAY

There are scores of printed volumes, including lavishly illustrated pa thology textbooks, to support the teaching of cell pathology. The Worl d Wide Web (WWW) has revolutionized the publication of text and graphi cs; and some types of information, such as protein and nucleotide sequ ence databases, can only really be made available via the Internet, He re, I highlight some of the myriad Web-based resources on various aspe cts of cell pathology and inflammation, including cell histology and p athology (Box 1), teaching resources (Box 2), lists of resources (Box 3) and information for patients and carers (Box 4).
