Abstract
The space of fuzzy sets on a compact metric space, with the sendograph metric for fuzzy sets, is shown to have the fixed point property. The relationship between absolute retracts and spaces of fuzzy sets is de monstrated. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
