Abstract
The cercocystis larva of the tapeworm Drepanidotaenia lanceolata was f ound in Arctodiaptomus spinosus. This cercocystis larva has not been f ound in an intermediate host in Yugoslavia so far. It is 130-140 mu m long, and 100-110 mu pm wide; has a characteristic appendage at the an terior part and a very long curved tail at the posterior part. The adu lt tapeworm parasitizes intestines of the birds: Anseriformes, Gavifor mes, Podicepediformes, Cyconiiformes and Galliformes.
