Abstract
To bridge a malignant stenosis after esophageal cancer recurrence two silicon-coated wall stents were in-planted in a 52-year-old patient wi thin 6 months. Two weeks after the second stent was implanted, clinica l examination showed dislocation of the prosthesis. Intraoperatively t he two stents were found sticking in the side-to-side jejunostomy of a former Billroth II operation, leading to perforation there.
