Abstract
Mossbauer spectroscopy in an external magnetic held, electron diffract ion microscopy and electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements were use d in an attempt to characterize the iron oxide particles present in ru by glasses prepared by the sol-gel method. The obtained results lead t o the conclusion that particles are present as a ferromagnetic phase t hat shows superparamagnetic behaviour.
