Abstract
We use new fits to parton structure functions, including structure fun ctions with Lipatov behavior at small x values and discuss the minijet component in the two-component dual parton model with a supercritical Pomeron as demanded by the fits to cross-section data. We find that a consistent model can only be formulated with a p(perpendicular-to hr) cutoff for the minijets increasing with energy. The implications for particle production in hadronic collisions at TeV energies are discuss ed.
