Abstract
Gorham's vanishing bone disease is a rare disorder characterized by ma ssive osteolysis. Its etiology is unknown. We report the case of a 14- year-old girl with an unusually aggressive: course and extensive invol vement originating within the skull base. To our knowledge this patter n has not been described previously. MR findings are discussed.
