Abstract
Using a semiclassical approach, we have calculated electron-, proton-, and ionized helium-impact line widths and shifts for 14 Ba I and 64 B a II multiplets for perturber densities 10(15) - 10(18) cm(-3) and tem peratures T = 2 500 - 50 000 K for Ba I and 5 000 - 100 000 K for Ba I I. The results have been compared with available experimental and theo retical data.
