Abstract
Significant differences in the number and shape of parr marks were fou nd between native, introduced hatchery and hybrid brown trout parr in the River Doubs. Similar differences in number of parr marks were obse rved in selective cross-breedings. (C) 1997 The Fisheries Society of t he British Isles.
