Dk. Cope, AN EXPANSION FOR QUASI-REVERSIBLE LINEAR POTENTIAL SWEEP VOLTAMMETRY AND THE USE OF EULERS TRANSFORMATION OF SERIES, Analytical chemistry, 69(7), 1997, pp. 1465-1469
An expansion for the current-voltage curves occurring in quasi-reversi
ble linear potential sweep voltammetry is obtained in the form of an e
xponential (double) series. Euler's transformation of series is used f
or practical evaluation. Numerical precision problems limiting past ap
plications of Euler's transformation can be overcome by the use of arb
itrary precision arithmetic, now commonly available in mathematical so
ftware. Sample calculations are given, and the relation of the solutio
n to previous work in the area is described.
