Abstract
The vapour pressure of CoBr2 and NiBr2 were measured by the torsion ef fusion and Knudsen effusion methods. From second- and third-law treatm ent of the results the standard sublimation enthalpies of both dibromi des, Delta(sub)H degrees(298) = 216+/-1 and 226+/-1 kJ mol(-1) for CoB r2 and NiBr2, were derived.
