Abstract
A simple transport model is developed in order to better illustrate th e competing effects of gas- and solid-phase transport in abed of parti cles with high adsorptive capacity. The model is successfully applied to the semiquantitative description of Xe-129 NMR data obtained for th e adsorption/desorption of benzene in beds of ZSM-5 crystals.
