Abstract
This paper reviews the status of time-domain integral-equation modelin g. It concentrates on recent work on development of the method here at Imperial College, done since the earlier review in this same journal [1]. A curvilinear, isoparametric approach, incorporating Gaussian qua drature, with special treatment of singular and hypersingular integral s, is described. The approach is implicit, providing stable prediction s without recourse to the averaging schemes found necessary with expli cit treatments. The issues of parallelization, hybridization to time-d omain optical methods, and application to dielectric and lossy targets are addressed.
