Abstract
Optically active 5-deazaflavin derivatives with an axial chirality at the N(3) position have been synthesized. Kinetics for thermal enantiom erization and X-ray crystallographic analyses of these compounds have been carried out. In addition, all absolute configurations of their en antiomers have been determined on the basis of circular dichroism spec tra. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd.
