Abstract
The toxicities of the polymers were studied in primary cultures of try psin-treated cells. The method is sensitive, informative, and easy to perform. The results evidence the least toxicity of poly-Hema polymers , fit for making IOLs. Though silicones hold good promise, further res earch in this field is necessary.
