Abstract
We investigate the effect of Doppler broadening on the spectrum of res onance fluorescence of a two-level atomic system driven by a coherent field, and find that the spectrum depends on the viewed direction, We also suggest the best way to decrease inhomogeneous broadening in thes e experiments.
