ON MU-COMPLEMENTED AND SINGULAR MODULES

In a previous paper we introduced mu-complemented modules for any give n torsion functor mu of a hereditary torsion theory in Mod-R and prese nted their basic properties. Our current research enables us to charac terize these modules when mu is a proper torsion theory other than Gol die's and the ring is a one-dimensional Noetherian domain. The case in which mu has property (T) is also treated. For an arbitrary mu, rings for which every module is mu-complemented are considered.
