Abstract
The title compound, -N,O)-(4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine-N,N')zinc(II) hydrate, [Zn(C5H3CINO)(2)(C12H12N2)].H2O, is an example of a pyridona te complex of zinc, The complex has a distorted geometry imposed by th e narrow bite angles-of the ligands.
