A NEW EXPRESSION FOR BEAM WAVE SCATTERING IN THE CASE OF VARIOUS TYPES OF ARBITRARY SCATTERING

A rigorous expression for electromagnetic beam wave scattering by arbi trary conducting and dielectric scatterers is presented in a simple fo rm using the Fourier transform. As numerical models, the B.E.M. and th e multiple cylinders method (M.C.M., circular cylindrical model) for t he conducting and dielectric rectangular cylinders are used. Scatterin g patterns and near field distributions are also illustrated. A compar ison between the two methods is made.
