Abstract
A quasi-linear control strategy for regulating DC/DC converters under wide parameter variation is implemented using a digital signal process or. The design of this DSP-based controller is presented. Since the co ntrol method allows realtime modification of control parameters accord ing to the changing environment, the resulting control shows significa nt improvement in performance over conventional methods. The proposed controller, being a programmable digital circuit, is highly reliable a nd flexible. The paper demonstrates the use of digital signal processo rs in controlling power converters.
