Va. Bednyakov et al., ON PROSPECTS FOR EXPLORATION OF SUPERSYMMETRY IN DOUBLE-BETA DECAY EXPERIMENTS, Modern physics letters A, 12(4), 1997, pp. 233-241
We analyze constraints on the parameters of the R(p) violating supersy
mmetry (R(p) SUSY) which can be extracted from non-observation of the
neutrinoless nuclear double beta decay (Ov beta beta) at a given half-
life lower bound. Our analysis covers a large class of phenomenologica
lly viable Rp SUSY models. We introduce special characteristics: the S
USY sensitivity of a beta beta-decaying isotope and the SUSY reach of
a Ov beta beta-experiment. The former provides a physical criterion fo
r a selection of the most promising isotopes for SUSY searches and the
latter gives a measure of success for a Ov beta beta-experiment in ex
ploring the Rp SUSY parameter space. On this basis we discuss prospect
s for exploration of supersymmetry in various Ov beta beta-experiments
.
