The millimetre- and submillimetre-wave spectra of the rotational trans
itions in the vibrational states nu2 = 1, nu3 = 2 and nu5 = 1 of (CD3I
)-C-12 were measured up to 393 GHz (J = 32). The vibrational states ar
e perturbed especially by the x-y Coriolis resonance and ''2,2'' 1-typ
e interactions. Their parameters were determined by a simultaneous fit
with the previously published high-resolution infrared data on the nu
2 band.
