J. Navarropedreno et al., MICRONUTRIENT CONCENTRATION IN TOMATO PLANTS AFFECTED BY SALINITY ANDORGANIC WASTE FERTILIZATION, Agrochimica, 40(5-6), 1996, pp. 257-262
Tomato plants were grown in a calcareous soil fertilized with two orga
nic wastes (sewage sludge and epicarp-mesocarps of a almonds). They we
re irrigated with three levels of salinity resulting from the addition
of NaCl to tap water. Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn and B were analyzed in the fruit
s and leaves during the harvesting period. The treatments had a signif
icant effect on Fe and Zn concentrations, and it was not so clear for
Mn, Cu and B contents.
