Abstract
Nineteen species of Daldinia are recognized. Six of them - Daldinia ba mbusicola, D. brachysperma, D. gelatinosa, D. macrospora, D. mexicana, and D. petriniae - are newly described. One new combination, Daldinia Iloydii, is made. Seven species were cultured. Daldinia caldariorum p roduced the teleomorph in culture. A key to the accepted Daldinia spec ies and an annotated list of the published Daldinia epithets are provi ded.
