Wd. Heiss et Rg. Nazmitdinov, MINIMAL ENERGY SOLUTIONS IN THE 3-DIMENSIONAL ROTATING HARMONIC-OSCILLATOR, Physics letters. Section B, 397(1-2), 1997, pp. 1-5
Minimal energy solutions have been found under variation of the direct
ion of the rotational vector with respect to the principal axes of a t
riaxial harmonic oscillator potential. It turns out that only shapes t
hat are without rotation genuinely triaxial but near oblate, can give
rise to lower minima for tilted rotations within a specified window of
the rotational frequency. (C) 1997 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
