Abstract
Investigation of the proton form factor F-1 (q(2), W-2) in the time-li ke region 4m(e)(2) < q(2) < 4M(2) by measuring the e(+)e(-)-symmetry i n the gamma(p,p)e(+)e(-) reaction is proposed. Selection of ''longitud inal'' photons (q(2) << q(2) << 4M(2)) suppresses contributions of F-2 and nucleon resonances. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
