Abstract
This paper introduces an lossless bounded real (LBR) realization metho d of multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems using rotation blocks. Fo r this, it first discusses how to realize a given LBR system in the fo rm of LBR two-pair cascades, and then it examines a systematic extract ion procedure which enables to realize each LBR two-pair in the form o f rotation block, Finally, it demonstrates the LBR realization method using a detailed numerical example: a given IIR transfer function is f irst converted into a 4 x 4 TDF transfer matrix, which is then realize d in a rotation block cascade.
