Abstract
Without changing the characteristics of the forward-backward LMS (FBLM S) adaptive line enhancer [1], an efficient implementation of FBLMS ad aptive filters is presented in this paper. This implementation techniq ue reduces 25% of multiplications and 12.5% of additions in two succes sive time samples in comparison to that of the direct implementation o f the FBLMS algorithm in both prediction and weight control sections.
