Abstract
The effects of the energy spectrum of precipitating electrons on the s tructure of the absorption layer are studied by a theoretical ionisati on-recombination model in the lower ionosphere. As a result the depend ence between the Aux-energy spectrum of precipitating electrons for ch aracteristic energies of > 10 and > 130 keV and the peak height of the absorption layer is presented for every month and for different solar zenith angles.
