Abstract
Three new steroids, isolated from the soft coral Sinularia gibberosa, are shown by spectroscopic data and chemical conversion to be 24-methy lenecholest-5-ene-3beta,7beta,16beta-triol (1) and 3-O-alpha-L-monofuc osides of 24-methylcholest-5-ene-3beta,16beta,25-triol (6) and echoles t-5-ene-3beta,9alpha,11alpha,16beta-tetraol (7).
