Abstract
The IR and Raman spectra of gaseous and liquid tetraethoxytitanium, Ti (OC2H5)(4), have been recorded and an assignment has been made. Compar ison of the spectra clearly shows the polymeric nature of tetraethoxyt itanium in the Liquid phase and monomeric molecules in the gas phase. In addition the thermodynamic properties of gaseous tetraethoxytitaniu m have been calculated using the present vibrational assignment and ad ditional information from the literature.
