Abstract
Immune response of rats exposed to 4000 L1 T. spiralis and treated wit h P. granulosum was measured. Intraperitoneal injection of propionibac teria results in an increase of percentage of T lymphocytes and an act ivation of neutrophils. The inhibition of macrophage migration was obs erved till 5 DAT. In infected rats, after P. granulosum intraperitonea l injection, an increase of specific IgG(1) antibody level was not obs erved. The reduction of the number of muscle larvae depended on the ti me of P. granulosum injection after infection with T. spiralis.
