Abstract
The Stokes parameters are calculated for a multiply scattered optical pulse propagating through a medium with large-scale inhomogeneities. T he temporal behavior of the intensity and the degree of polarization i s studied for phase functions decreasing with scattering angle by a po wer law. It is shown that the exponent of the power law can have a det ermining effect on the time dependence of the degree of polarization. This dependence can turn nonmonotone with an increase in the scale of inhomogeneitie.
