Abstract
We present an analysis of the rms amplitude of p-mode oscillations for different heights in the solar atmosphere, as a function of spatial r esolution. Two different reduction methods are used to simulate limite d spatial resolution. The dependence on spatial resolution can be appr oximated by power laws. We do not find significant differences between the exponents of the power laws obtained for the various spectral Lin es are have analysed. Also, the results of the two reduction methods d iffer only by a small amount.
