Triglycine sulfate (TGS) single crystal is studied in audio frequency
range to investigate its ferroelectric contribution. Audio frequency c
haracteristics of TGS shows universal dynamic response: chi(omega) = e
psilon(omega)-epsilon(infinity) = A(T)(i omega)(n(T)-1) and its charac
teristic exponent n has its minimum at the transition temperature. Thi
s fact is in contrast with Jonscher's results, and we imply that this
is because at the transition point, the crystal's restoring force is m
inimum so its critical exponent should have a minimum at the transitio
n temperature.
