Rw. Quandt et Jf. Hershberger, PRODUCT BRANCHING RATIOS OF THE NH((3)SIGMA(-))-))+NO2 REACTIONS(NO AND NH((3)SIGMA(), Journal of physical chemistry, 99(46), 1995, pp. 16939-16944
The title reactions were studied at 298 K using time-resolved infrared
diode laser spectroscopy. For the NH ((3) Sigma(-)) + NO reaction, N2
O + H were found to be the primary products, with a branching ratio of
0.77 +/- 0.08, in good agreement with other recent measurements. For
the NH ((3) Sigma(-)) + NO2 reaction, the measured branching ratio was
0.41 +/- 0.15 into the N2O + OH channel and 0.59 +/- 0.15 into the NO
+ HNO channel.
