The kinetics of deep oxidation of benzene, isopentane, and their mixtu
res on a copper-chromium-alumina catalyst is studied. The kinetic equa
tions, which describe the regularities observed in the 300 to 400 degr
ees C temperature range and 5 to 150 Pa range of current partial press
ures of hydrocarbons, are found. The data obtained. testify that the p
rinciple of simple mutual effect is fulfilled in the mixtures of hydro
carbons oxidized under the given conditions.
