The interaction of carbon oxides with copper-zinc oxide catalysts prea
ctivated with H-2 is studied by the method of high-temperature in situ
X-ray diffraction combined with chromatographic analysis of products.
The mechanism of catalytic synthesis of methanol is proposed on the b
asis of the results obtained.
