Abstract
Although mercury exposure levels among dentists have been steadily dec reasing, occupational mercury exposure among dental professionals cont inues to be a matter of interest. This study examined personal, profes sional and office characteristics of dentists to determine which facto rs contribute most to exposure. The resulting information will help de ntal professionals change their practices to minimize unnecessary expo sure to elemental mercury.
