Abstract
(n-C4H9)(4)NVO3 self-condenses by addition of a small amount of acetic acid in MeOH solution to form the title compound. The X-ray structura l analysis of crystalline [(n-C4H9)(4)N](2)[H4V10O28] revealed the pre sence of discrete (n-C4H9N+ cations and H4V10O282- polyanions each of which contain ten VO6 distorted octahedra sharing edges. In the molecu le, the isopolydecavanadate and tetra-n-butylammonium are linked toget her by ionic forces.
