Abstract
The applicability of different propagation models based on the Walfisc h-Bertoni or the Walfisch-Ikegami formulations is studied. When this t ype of model is applied to real urban cells, large areas with errors o ften appear. The origin of some errors and a proposal to improve the a pplicability of Walfisch-type models, based on a measurement campaign, are described.
