Abstract
The authors report the design and first realisation of a grating-assis ted horizontal directional coupler filter exibiting a highly reduced p olarisation sensitivity (below 1 dB on the filtered channel) and a hig h sidelobe suppression ratio (>25 dB for both polarisations). This fil ter is particulary suitable for integration in a 1.3(+)/1.3(-)mu m dup lexer.
