Abstract
The authors present a Filler designed to flatten the gain of an EDPA s ystem over a 30 nm bandwidth. The filter consists of cascaded couplers and delays, and is fabricated with planar silica waveguides. The desi gn is based on Fourier expansion, and our approach is generally applic able to other complex filters and other waveguide structures.
