Abstract
A planktonic microfauna discovery leads to the interpretation of facie s relationships in the rudistid complex of ''Collades de Basturs'' (Sa ntonian, Tremp area). It highlights a NE buildup shift towards the ope n sea; this prograding organization should no longer be considered as simply a transgressive systems tract.
